Woodworking Companions
Woodworking Companions:

As woodworkers, we all have them, constant workshop companions. Of course
they not have the physical presence that pets may have, but they still might be
people whose memory gives you that inspiration to be the best woodworker you
can be. This page was created with that ongoing memorial in mind. Here are a
few of my workshop companions.
Grandpa:

Without Grandpa's love of wood, or having inherited many of his woodworking
tools, my woodworking would not be what it is today. Without a doubt he is always
with me in the shop, and whenever I frustration rears its ugly head and I often ask
myself  "What would Grandpa do" and often times, that is enough to come up with
a creative solution.
Trisha:

Losing a close family member changes anyone, and Trisha's untimely death in a
car accident certainly changed my attitude on life. Her love of children, her energy
and her success story as a former Foster Child and Adopted Sister is enough to
motivate anyone, much less her favorite brother.
Kenworth:

Kenworth loves being in the workshop, at least while the woodworking machinery
is turned off. Whenever I revert to hand tools, Kenworth is constantly at my side, or
nudges me with his nose, usualy when I am getting frustrated at an aspect of
woodworking that just is not going together well enough. It's that constant nudge,
constant companionship that keeps my woodworking spirit in proper working
order.
