Glow-In-the-Dark Woods
Introduction:
Were you aware that some wood species will actually glow in the dark when
subjected to a Black Light Bulb? It's true! The predominant color is yellow, with
some tones of lime, blue and green mixed in as well. As with any wood, the tone
varies from one piece of wood to another, but interesting affects can be made by
using the list of woods below. Just keep in mind, some of these trees are little
more than shrubs, so your woodworking projects should be limited in size such as
that of jewelry boxes, inlays or intersia.
